Your wedding day is coming up and there are some important things to do to prepare so you and your bridal party are ready for the big day!
Your preparation is key to ensuring gratifying results in receiving your desired hair and makeup look. Here are some tips and tricks to make your day run smoother
*Having a daily beauty regimen that include cleansing, exfoliating, toning and moisturizing, day and night will make a huge different in the appearance of your skin. If you need help creating a regimen please contact your esthetician. Don’t forget your daily SPF.
*If you decide to have a facial, chemical peels, a spray tan, or any waxing done, please do not do them the day before your wedding. Facials and chemical peels should be done 2 weeks prior. A spray tan looks best 3 to 4 days after application. Make sure to have a trial to ensure you have the right color. Facial waxing is best 3 to 5 days before the wedding will help avoid any redness, peeling, and bumps. If you have never had any of the services listed above we suggest you give them a try months before.
*We like to ensure no one has any reactions to any products and ask that you notify us prior to the wedding date of any allergies the bride or bridal party may have. There is an area designated on the contract to list allergies for this purpose.
*Please have your hair either a day dirty, as long as it is not greasy, or clean and dry the day of your wedding. We do offer blow-outs upon request, as long as we know before hand and they are an additional cost.
*In order for us to truly see your vision we ask that you email a picture of yourself and any desired looks you have for your wedding day.
*If you want to be confident in your look on the day of your wedding, secure a trial run/preview with us before the wedding day.
*We work in many different environments and spaces. A clean area, near natural light if possible, with enough space for a few tables and outlets used to station our products are needed for us to function efficiently.
*Please take into account time. Allow the bride 2 hours and bridesmaids 1 hour for both hair styling and makeup applications. For one service, allow 30 minutes to an hour. Also in that time, take into consideration the time it takes for everyone to get dressed for photographs and the ceremony.
*Before your hair and/or makeup appointment please take care of any personal hygiene needs. This can include brushing teeth, washing your face, even adding moisturizer is okay, although we do apply skincare as apart of our makeup application.
*Please no cell phones unless used for photo reference with desired look.
